We will take daily readings of total and daily water usage, test for free chlorine residual levels, test the pH level, record all readings, and inspect the system for maintenance needs and proper operation. We utilize our own testing equipment and testing supplies.
Our duties are limited specifically to the operation of the Water System. We are not responsible for the duties, replacement parts, or costs of the upkeep and repair of your Water System, or for the duties, replacement parts, or costs of the operation, upkeep and repair of your Distribution System (i.e. from the point that the water leaves the treatment plant and is distributed to the users. "Where the main line leaves the storage tank.")
We provide a ready-to-submit Monthly Report Form that can be faxed or mailed to the EPD. The form is computer generated and we keep a copy on hand should there be a need for it.
When appropriate, we will offer advice and suggestions to the system owner for better operation and maintenance of their system. We offer to help remind system owners of when tests are due, as long as the system owner notifies us that they have received a test kit from the EPD.
Unless specific arrangements are made, ALL laboratory testing, EPD required tests and the related shipping costs, repairs, materials for repair, chemicals and other system supplies are the responsibility of the system owner.
If needed, we can suggest suppliers for EPD-approved chemicals and testing equipment.

The new rates above and below are effective as of 06/15/08
If service is paid for on a yearly basis you pay for 11 months, but get service for 12.
To figure the radius in miles to your location, print out the map page from our website, copy the map scale to the edge of a small slip of paper and simply measure on a straight line from downtown Augusta to your location. Choose the number of miles on the chart closest to your actual distance in miles figure. This number is your "radius".
A client may or may not be able to get the scheduling interval that they desire; however, every attempt will be made to accommodate a client's needs.
Holidays or unexpected circumstances and/or events (act of God, terrorist attack, etc.) may disrupt our schedule from time to time. Except for regularly scheduled client service, we do not work on or through the holidays listed on our Email Inquiry Form.
Service connections above 130 are an additional $2.00 each.
During normal business hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, service calls are $45.00 for the first hour, $25.00 per hour for any additional hours incurred during the same service call.
After hours, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, service calls are $70.00 for the first hour and $45.00 per hour for any additional hours incurred during the same service call.
On holidays or other special days (see our Email Form for details), service calls are $90.00 for the first hour and $65.00 per hour for any additional hours incurred during the same service call.
Each trip out to service a particular system will be considered a separate service call, even if the two trips are called in on the same day. If in our sole discretion, the second call is related to services rendered by our company in the first call; we will charge the appropriate amount per hour additional rate for the second call as outlined above, rather than the normal service call rate ($25.00, $45.00 or $65.00 per hour).
I have operated a public water system in the State of Georgia for more than 11 years. I have helped to design and build two EPD-approved water treatment plants for small public water systems. I am licensed in the State of Georgia as a Class 4, Public Water System Operator.
One of the plants is a state-of-the-art system built specifically with expansion in mind to allow the system owner to remain compliant in the future. Shortly after it was completed, an EPD representative characterized it as the "most technically advanced, privately-owned water treatment plant in the State of Georgia".
The plant utilizes electronic flow metering, a sodium hypochlorite bleach chlorine injection system, and a calcite-based pH treatment system. It is housed in a purpose-built 14’ x 14’ block building that has been reinforced to resist storm damage. 99% of the piping, fittings and other equipment are PVC, polycarbonate, fiberglass, or stainless steel. PVC union ball valves and check valves were used throughout the system. It is air conditioned in the summer months to eliminate condensation.
I have been the system operator of this system for over 11 years.
The other plant is a much smaller and less costly version of the larger plant. It has the same chlorine injection system, but is housed in a prefab plastic building on a concrete slab and utilizes a standard flow meter.
It is sometimes possible to make arrangements for small water system owners to inspect the plants. Please feel free to call or email and I will check with the system owners to see if it will be possible to visit the plants. Both are located within a few miles of each other in the Augusta area.
